Active kids Voucher process:
Apply for vouchers
Allocate them to an organisation your kid pays member fees to. (They
only work for member fees invoiced after the date you apply). It is best
to apply Active kids vouchers to organisations that have a single yearly
membership fee (soccer, baseball, etc). However it is still possible to
allocate them to your scout member fees at
The downside of applying vouchers to scouts,
or to other organisations with ongoing quarterly HQ and local club fees,
is that Government only issues a small portion of the total against each
quarter's fees. It may take up to a year to all come through to us. Also
if you leave scouting later in the year, then the government does not
issue the remainder at all. This is why we cannot discount the total off
any one quarterly fee in advance, and hope that the government gives it
to us later. We can only reimburse to you what the government actually
issue to Scouts NSW for you. Therefore we get you to give us your bank
account details and then after each quarter we direct deposit whatever
the government has given us for you, for that quarter.
